I just recently had, a 4L60E Street/Strip Perf Upgrade w/vacuum modulator from 700r4l60e.com installed in my 2000 rcsb 4x4 truck, and the 2,3 shift is slipping and i also have no passing gear. Any comments or ideas would greatly appreciated.

Need more details then that.. What gear would be passing gear?

 

+1 more info needed. If by passing gear you mean it doesn't downshift or the converter isn't unlocking?

 

That may be similar to the problem I'm having, when punching it at 60+ it feels kind of sluggish huh? I lost 3rd and 4th gear and thought it was my converter, builder said it was the pump and replaced it under warranty. Now it's doing it again

 

when driving it to keep it from slipping during the 2,3 shift I have to let out of the gas and let it shift then continue on the gas and it works fine like that. But as far as what gear for passing im not sure i wanna say 2nd or 3rd depending on what rate of speed your traveling at. Today I tried to stomp it and all it did was drop to drive and was turning about 3k on the tach and definatley didnt pull as hard as it used to when working properly. My friend thinks its something to do w/ the front pump not holding pressure like it should.
