need help

Default need help

i was wondering if i use a 6.0/4l80e can i use a built tranny,3200 yank,4.10 gear,true trac,moser axles,caltracs bars--can i still be a daily driver.i eventually want to build a 500 hp street truck,but for now i want it to be a mild bolt on motor,any ideas?

well you're going to need forced induction in order to hit anywhere near 500rwhp and even 400rwhp.

With that combo you listed....yes there's no reason why it can't be a daily driver. There are many guys whos daily drive a full bolt on 6.0 with a big stall and shorter gears.

I say do it.

i am tryin to put a total package together to go in place of my v6and was tryin to gather a complete list so when the time is right i can get one piece at a time and build it all in a short time

dude, . . . do the MS3, or the T-Rex cam that I was taking about, that's a 400hp start right there.

if i use that cam,lontubes,no cats,tuning,stock heads,will i make over 400

if i do what do i need to do to the fuel system,trans,converter,gear,posi,axles,and so on

you can put 400 to the wheels with just cam/verter/cutout . . . injectors would be keeping it on the safe side.

In a truck? Mind posting any dyno sheets of someone who has a cam only truck in the 400's?

the vette and camaro guys are doing that with 5.7s . . . I'm guessing that it'd be more with a 6.0, a little less with an auto

well i think i am going with a 6.0 only cause i am wanting to do some butt kickin against some people i know as a payback for messing with me but all in good fun.
