Default TB stall codes?

I called Dacco transmissions today and I told them I wanted a TC for a 2001 inline six Trailblazer. They asked me what code it was, a, b, or c. According to them, the codes are for different stall speeds. Does anyone know anything about the codes? Tranny gurus chime in.

Thanks Okie. Did you install yourself? Also, did you need a retune after it was installed? I'm looking to install myself, and doing as much research as I can.

Not too hard to install, and yes, you will need a retune. It will work but the driveability is kind of wierd as are downshifts. I know because I had to drive mine for 3 or 4 days before I got the computer back.

Thanks Truck addict, I hate that I will need to retune. When I got a Wait4me mailorder tune, I didn't keep my pcm. It's my DD and I can't afford to wait on him to send me a new tune. What was the deal with the shifting after installing the TBTC?

no prob. no i didn't do the install. i don't have a lift and not as gung ho as i used to be laying on my back lugging trannys around. i paid 2 bills and had it done. only tune issues may be a need to bump the idle a little if your getting TC lock-up issues from misfires.
