Default Massive drive line failure.

So this happened.
Sheared leaf spring pins. Destroyed drive shaft. Bent rear end yoke. And cracked transmission. Punctured fuel tank. Rear end has fallen out of of cradle and landed in c notches.
Hint it's not supposed to be laying frame.
Also it's a carbed 350 and th350 transmission. 1994 c1500 4/6 drop.

Anyone care to guess what exactly happened?

Did you shear all the axle u-bolts when that happened? Looks like you pole vaulted.

Bad drive line angle or the drive shaft was too long.

Ubolts and girdles all still together none sheared. Drive line angle was just set using a digital angle gauges last weekend along with new u joints. Drive shaft seemed a little long. However there was still about a half inch more it could have moved in to the transmission when replacing ujoints. I did buy the truck recently and it had been swapped and had flip kit installed. However drive line angle was out horribly when I purchased it and the axle was only held to the springs using ubolts around the axle tube. I replaced it with a new complete flip kit.

Something bound up or moved, Unless the trans blew first.

I was just leaving a stop sign. Under maybe 1/4 of throttle. I noticed that the passenger side leaf spring pin sheared off. I'm not sure if it happened first or when the axle came out of the carrier. And slammed the truck on Springs. If it happened first I can see the rear end dog tracking binding up the drive shaft and letting everything go. The only problem with so much destroyed it's hard to tell what exactly caused the issue. I might find out more when I get the bed ripped off and the transmission pulled. Thinking about swapping rear end out at same time. Which should eliminate everything that could have bound. Tow truck driver hooked me up with a 88 full sized van for 125 since there only getting 100 or less when the drag them across the scales so. So I got some replacement parts.

First thing that comes to mind looking at pics is the ubolts backed off enough to allow movement which sheared the locator pin, something with the u joint bound up finishing it all off, which end of the ds came apart, the trans slip yoke or the rear joint? I shot a driveshaft out of my 86 k5 few years ago because the ds was at wrong angle after lift, on way to the machine shop that was going to measure and build the new one!!!
