Default LQ4/4L80 pullout swap questions

Hey all, I have a few questions to ask regarding an LQ4/4L80 swap.

I have a 2000 silverado rcsb with a 5.3/4L60. I have found a few 01/02 LQ4/4L80 pullouts for a reasonable price ($2k ish). These are complete with all wiring and ecu. An external trans cooler with the appropriate fittings will getting installed as well. I have already purchased a tubular trans mount for this swap, so that is taken care of.

My questions are:
Will the wiring be pretty much plug and play since the years are similar?

Will the stock driveshaft work with this setup or will I need to order a custom shortened shaft? ( I have seen some conflicting info on this subject)

What other items will be needed assuming everything is is good condition on the pullout?

Any help is much appreciated,
Nathan

Wiring is different, need to add a second speed sensor and swap a couple pins. Driveshaft length depends mostly on your truck's ride height I believe.

The swap will be 2wd to 2wd.

I am planning ro use the 2500 trucks harness to prevent the wiring swap.

I am asking if anyone knows whether or not the 1500 and 2500 harness Connect to the chassis the same.
