Default Lowering Question

Getting ready to drop the truck. Plans are to use dropped spindles up front and rear hangers out back. Truck is a 2001 RCSB and already has dropped shackles installed on rear. 2 questions though....

With using the spindles, the geometry stays the same up front but will an alignment be needed after the install?

Will it be necessary to shim the rear or will the pinion angle stay where it is using the dropped hangers? Don't want to run into vibration issues or binding once it's done.

My alignment was totally out of whack after installing drop spindles. Other brands may not be as bad, but you should still get an alignment to keep everything in spec.
