Do you like truetrac eaton? Look at link 1999-2008 GM 8.6 Truetrac Posi 3.73 Excel Gear Package - Ron's Machining Service

I was thinks to buy this set up? Want see what your opinion at locker.

The tru-trac is not a locker. It is a gear driven posi. I have installed many of those with great success. The only thing to consider is that it is one wheel peel in reverse.

Personally, I run an actual detroit locker. Surprisingly it has good street manners. I just have to remember that once my foot is on the gas, both rear wheels are locked.

love my tru trac. no clutches to wear out.

in my last Silverado I was putting ~450rwhp down and gave it hell and never had any issues out of it.
