Limiter straps

I've been toying with the idea of limiter straps on the front-end to try and keep the weight transfer to a minimum and help get a bit more traction. (looking for that 1.5ish 60 foot) Any thoughts? Experiences? Ideas?
BTW I'm also going to throw on some spring clamps for the hell of it...

You would want the front to lift as much as possible to transfer weight to the rear wheels. Especially on a truck.

I think the easiest way would be to put a piece of wire rope with made ends on the bolts that hold the shock. You could get 1/4" or 5/16" wire rope, not really bulky. I would have a local wire rope company make me something.

That is what I was thinking, I'm alittle worried aboout the top shock stud bending and I don't want to drill holes.
GM, that is a good idea too, I'll have to look into that....
