Iwas told that Precision gear is the manufactor of the GM gears. Is this true? Oh and that they were one of the best gears around.

I have heard good things about precision gears. I would not bet on they are the manufactor for gm gears as I have heard of several gear makers claiing this.

I believe it is AAM that makes OEM GM gears.

AAM is the primary manufacturer of GM designed(non-dana) diff parts. High quality stuff.
