Default Just did 3/5 drop and need tire recommendations

Did a 3/5 drop on my 06 SIerra. It's on 20inch wheels with 275 / 55-50 and I believe they are going to be too tall.

What tires do you guys with lowered trucks, with 20 inch wheels, run? Or, if there is a tire guru here that can enlighten me as to what may be the best fit. If I don't go small enough, it'll rub. If I go too small, it will look weird. Would like to keep the width.

Thanks for any input!

If you can find a 265/50/20 tire you like, those are 30.5in tall tires and would give you plenty of room. So that's an option for you. You could also do a 255/55/20 which is 31in tire but the width a decent amount less.

The 275/55/20 are 31.9in.

I'm on 275/45/20 but with a 4/6 drop (29.7" diameter)

Use a tire calculator inputting your current size(s) for a baseline then using the tire comparison tab input other sizes to get an idea what works.

Drove the truck home from the shop with no clearance issues so far. Need to get the brackets to set up the air bags for this drop as there is relatively no suspension travel in the rear and it needs to come up about an inch. The shop cut the snubbers, but I don't know how much they cut. I suspect more could be cut. I'll get underneath it tomorrow and check it all out because the ride in the back is not going to do.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'm still up in the air on the tires, need to drive it more but like I said, need to get that rear suspension set up right.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on some 22's which will allow a lower profile tire instead of the ones on it. They look like truck tires with the big side walls (275/55 20). Going to a 275/45 22 which brings the overall diameter down some but looses a lot on the sidewall. Think that will give it a better look overall.

Thanks for all the input.
