as the title says...it's a vig 2800, and i was just curious if any of you other gm guys have something similar. truck is an 03 4.8 reg cab short bed, has headers and an LS6 cam, 3.42 gears. what kind of realistic expectations should i have for this converter in the truck? thanks

As far as expectations.... expect to want a higher stall especially with that cam. Do you have Long tube headers? If you bought the converter new, you get one free restall. I had mine restalled to 3K. My new Vig will be 3200 maybe a tad higher.

if the Vig stalls too low or too high, Precison Industries will restall the TC free during the firts 2 years of owning the TC. This asssumes that you bought it new.

i have lt headers and true duals x pipe setup. i actually just put in an MTI R1 cam last night and got it running this morning. i might call Vig and have them change the order to a 3200 instead of 2800. thakns for the help guys

Make yourself a favor and call PI to change your 2800 for a 3200. I really like my 2800 but I would have liked the 3200 better.
