where can i locate a cheap dust cover for the trans? i noticed mine didnt come with one and ebay wants 150 for one. junk yards wont sell just the cover. any ideas?

You dont need to run the dustcover. You'll actually get better cooling off the converter with it off. It's not there for structural support. If my truck wasn't so low to the ground I wouldn't run it. In fact, before I was dropped I didn't run the dustcover.

I will get you that part # and correct one for line. The receipt showed two parts with description of tube, so I thought the more expensive one was the cooler line. I think the cover was cheap also.

The part# for dust cover that I bought is 15000206 and cooler line is 15812030.

i ended up buying all new AN -6 fittings for the cooling lines and ill look into the dust cover later.

so i put together all the parts that i have and realized the 80E does not have the ISS sensor installed but a block off plate instead. can i use my 60E VSS or do i even need the ISS? i thought there was a way to run the 80 like the 60.

So jakes 80e's don't come with cooler fittings and both vss/iss sensors?

mine came with the stock cooling line connections and im not sure if the missing ISS sensor is normal.

He includes the sensors but probably left it out as most of his customers probably use the 60e tune.
