Good info Sportside. Now I have another converter to consider. I know I need a stall bad, but I can't make up my mind. No one around me has a truck with a converter yet so I can't go for a ride and get a feel for them. I'm scared as hell about putting a converter in my truck and hating my day to day driving. It's 99.9% stop and go.

do converters affect towing at all ? and would you need a built a tranny for one , or is it just something smart to add .

also 1slowz71 its easy to do it when you have the stock 245-70 generals that went bald within 16k miles . it will sometimes and rarely ever churp them with these kumho's

Glad to hear you got your stall installed. I am still debating on getting one for myself.
