For those wondering, it does take some clearance. I made these cuts and then bent the firewall back a little bit.

Has anyone had troubles with their hydrobooster leaking from the weep hole on the bottom? OEM unit started leaking so I replaced it with 2 acdelco remans and they have both leaked right out of the box, makes a huge mess in the fenderliner.

Going back to all of this as I am still unclear. I have a van (06 express) available to me with a hydroboost setup for free.99. What parts wont work swapping it into my 02 silverado and can I or can I not get the parts I need to make it work. I dont mind fabricating.

Pedal assembly seems like an immediate issue. Thanks guys

4.8 I know for sure. I thought it would have an 80e being a 3/4 ton but my dad says it's a 60e

Excellent write up Atomic! I'm gathering parts to do this conversion on my wife's 2001 Tahoe now and this thread greatly helps get ready. Thank you!
