Hows it going, i have a 99 silverado currently in a shop being worked on. Getting it painted, shaving tailgate, installing roll pan and re doing the interior. Before i take it back i want to take a lowering kit and rims for the shop to install but not sure of what to get. I was wanting to lower it 4 front 6 rear with some 22s or 2 front and 4 rear with some 24s or even 4front 6rear with the 24s but im not sure of what to do. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks

 

4/6 or 3/6 will look good with some 20s or 22s

i was thinking about that but its more expensive and i want to replace the 4.8 with the 6.0 and i think itll handle better with something like a belltech lowering kit, im also thinking of getting 18s or 20s now that i have seen some lowered silverados with those size rims.

 

U can do a 4/6 with 24s 255/30 or 275/25 loved how mine rode and loojed

 

Only down side to air ride is cost. Everything else improves!

 

My advice just go 1 step lower than what your set on. Why I have a 2/4 and want 4/6 so bad. FYI if you live somewhere with shitty roads the lower you go with bigger rims its going to suck. ( Colorado 2/4 great. Washington 2/4 bottom out a little more.) Good luck in for pics

Also, air ride has come a long way. You would be amazed at how well they perform. Shockwaves and a 4-link will handle like its on rails.
