Like I told you in my pm my 3900 is very streetable. To me the fuddle converters feel tighter than most aftermarket tcs. Too get good gas mileage but good performance get a 3200.

If it's tight a 3200rpm stall speed would be the max I would want for DD.

It's around 2k... everybody may tell you that, but most everybody hasn't driven a heavy *** truck with several different stall speeds. I have. My advice to you is see if you can drive or atleast ride in some trucks with different converters in them and make your own opinion. But mine is that I am satisfied with mine, maybe a bit on the radical side at times but the performance awesome! Never bad enough to dislike it altogether, but then again it's a match to my cam. So that is another variable you need to figure in... what are your specs? You don't want to stall over your power band.

i drive daily with a 3800 PI. does it get on my nerves? yes some tiems especially going up a hill but without the hills its not that bad. i do lose alot of rpm for climbing a hill but like anything there are trade offs.

stall works great racing but comuting it does suck.
