how do the straps feel daily driving??

 

they arent tight so you dont notice them at all.

 

Lets bring this back from the dead, Chase can you still get these parts?

I've got straps on my Sierra... typically used them only as droop limit straps though, but I may try tightening them up once and launch to see how it feels.

oh, I also have a set of 17" DJ Safety straps brand new for sale in my classified ad... They are more the length of a truck with approx. a typical 6" lift. no clevises though, but they can be had separately.


I've got QA1's, just single adj., on my lowered Silverado and I LOVE THEM. So easy to adjust, and you can actually feel the difference in settings. I can only imagine how sweet the double adjs. are for separate rebound and compression!

 

U recommend qa1s for anyone launching a 4x4 or do straps work till a certain level?

 

Straps have worked well on mine so far. Haven't got to experiment with them much as I only have two passes on them but they show promise.

 

Bringing this back from the dead. I have a set of these straps ready to install, just missing the angled/beveled washers. Anyone know where to get them?

 

McMaster Carr will have them , or a Fastenal store.

Or try Allen's fasteners online . Let us know how you make out .
