Was that a tech at the dealership...? He is incorrect, relays need to be installed a certain way or they won't work. If they were installed backwards with power applied, it would put a load on the coil and probably burn it up. The coils aren't meant to take a lot of current. I would double check everything in your underhood fuse box. Verify the relays are working, too.

All of the relays in my underhood fusebox are installed upside down, not sure if the diagram is backwards or what...seems odd...but everything works.

Upside down, that is odd. The pins should be facing down. Weird.

yeah he works at a dealership. He is a freind of a friend. Apparently he has been doing this for 20 years. IDK. I put them in the direction they are sopposed to go but still no start. I tested all the gry relays. I didn't test the black relays.

I HAVE SEARCHED IMAGES for the correct way the relays go. alot of images dn't match up with images from other trucks of the same year.

I wish i knew a tech that works at chevy who could get my truck in without any problems as it's still under warranty and I am a broke ***. PM me if you know any techs who can do the warranty work. If not I'm gonna have to save up and sell more **** which is gay cause this is my only transportation other than my bike and the gf.

The 80e shifts pretty damn nice. It is way better than the last one. I guess I did a good job. Now That I know it works. time to resave up for a Circle D-- effin taxes.

I am prolly gonna through the wideband in tomorrow.

well **** i'm pooped. I'll throw more input up tomorrow.

Truck is finally running. The transmission shifts pretty damn nice. Way better than the other trans I had. It chirps 1-2 at about 1/4 throttle. Now I need to look into traction. I did a few test runs and it just kept spinning
