I had a 4" steel driveshaft made for me that was $350.
I think youre on the right track with all the mods like a girdle.

As far as tie rod ends most of the 1500 guys don't do it... no matter what we do we will never have the same torque off the line that a diesel does... Theyre just out of first gear by nearly 30 MPH. Still something I think I'd like to do though.

I just don't like being that guy that breaks at the starting line.. Lol. So ya may not be needed, I can already tell the limiting straps are pretty much a must if ya wanna cut a dec 60' IMO from where I'm at now I can pretty much expect atleast a half sec drop in 60' realistically with the mods as I'm sittin at a 2.1 now. In my opinion.. Weak sauce!! But baby steps I'll get there!
