Default Goin 80e with a brake in Denali

Well I finally have seen the light after pics of 60e carnage. I plan on running a Jakes Trans brake I'm gonna put a circle d 3400 multi disk in it for a converter. That way I can still tow and keep temps down with tighter converter and be able to stall it up to 3400 for when I race it for best of both worlds so to speak.. My question for you guys is for the swap itself, and driveline upgrades that will be able to take the hit of roughly 700hp @3400 from a dig in a awd Sierra. Any info would be apreciated. Front end upgrades and rear ends and what not as of right now it's all stock..

I was guessing upgraded tie rods, driveshafts, and girdle for rear, caltracs, and poly bushings for front diff and control arms. Is there more that needs to be done? I understand that **** still breaks but just wanna know about the weak spots..

Do you have a build thread I can read through? And what's this strapping of the front how does one do this? The ten bolt won't cut it no matter what not even with awd? Is there a specific Dana rear end that's bolt in from oe manufacture or is it purely aftermarket? You still runnin leaf springs in rear or did you do a custom setup? I did see the SUv tahoes have a half *** 4 link? Thoughts worth converting and modifying slightly?

Actually I think your rear should hold for awhile, but the factory g80 Locker may not. My truck has quadrasteer so it came with the dana60. I still have stock rear leaf springs, truck is just lowered, launches great, spins all four but no hoping or bouncing.

I'll run it till it breaks then.. Meh. I'll atleast do a girdle on it I suppose. Will the factory driveshaft hold or have one made. I think steel would be better suited for a transbrake setup because the sudden shock. So ya gonna start plumbing the direct port. Ills start with 150hp shot on c16 with my stand alone fuel system.

Don't trust the factory driveshaft. I cracked mine and lucked out and caught it. Mine only gets a few thousand miles a year if that as it's just a toy.

The 8.6 10 bolt is pretty tough with a girdle, and launching in 4x4. Never had any problems with mine.

Different story though, if you have a 2wd on slicks...

Ya I plan on gettin a driveshaft loop built into conversion crossmember. Seems like a good Idea to be safe. The girdle is a no brainer lol I haven't looked yet but is there companies that make aftermarket axles for the rear end. I seem to break them a lot on other builds I've done and have to do a posi when they break cuz it spreads and gets stuck in the splines, or splits them. Also is there a place that makes upgraded driveshafts for the trucks I can buy or are we on our own with them being made locally.
