4.10's and 3k stall will make a hella difference....especially if you put a cam in!
Or you could even do 3.90 ratio.....

since your extended cab I would say the 4.10s and the 3K, went from 3.42s and 4.10s with a 31in tire (4wd) and my in town gas mileage didn't change and my highway was like .5 less. As heavy as these trucks are they should have nothing less then a 3.73 IMO

not enough difference in 3.42s and 3.73s. If anything, 4.10s.

You might consider a converter with stock gears.

Personally, I think you'll have problems with traction.

I've got 4.10's and a 3k stall converter in my truck and I can't keep my tires on the ground at the track. I rebuilt my engine last year with some mild head work, Crane Powermax 2033 cam (part #104228), forged pistons, and a 100 hp shot of nitrous. I've got 285 rear tires and slapper bars on it still has no traction. Last time I went to the track, I spun the tires off the line, again shifting into second, and again shifting into third halfway down the track! If you decide on this combo, be prepared to spend some money on suspension.

i honestly dont care about the track that much to worry about traction on that ****. I want off the line power, for the street mostly. I want my truck to actually feel like it has power instead of a pretty good 1st gear, an OK 2nd gear, and shitty 3rd and 4th. 3.42s make my truck feel weak.
