Default Gear Change = ABS light

On my 4x4, I changed the gearing and now my abs light comes on sometimes. I am running 35" tires with 4.88 gears front and back. I have a wait4me tune that was suppose to be changed to those specs but I do know my speedo is off some. The dealer computer shows codes for the front abs sensors. I ran a little while with just the rear gears and I had no light until I changed the front gears.

The ABS light doesn't come on all the time though. I would think if the sensor was cut it would be on all the time.

If it started after you done the front, then somethings not right. If dealership said front that's where id start looking! Could be a bad connection, moister, broken wire etc.

When I did my gear change my ABS and parking lights come on after a little bit of driving. Once I got my Wheatley tune every went off and hasn't come on since.

Yea tune should take care of it.... sometimes you cant plug in 4.88 and the actual size, but you can do 4.10 and some other tire size that gives an equivalent relation.

Yea don't feel bad I just did my gears, I have a wait4me tune as well. He didn't fix the light or set my speedo, he sucks I'm tired of dealing with him. He's a joke as a tuner and has horrible customer service, i'ma get a dyno tune as soon as I can afford it

I agree on the wait4me tune. I don't have a dyno anywhere near me right now. I think I'm going with a Blackbear tune next time but I want to get a cam in before I do. I'm am concerned that the speed is off they way it is. If you didn't realize your speedo was off then it would appear you are getting better mpg than you actually are. Initially I had 33" tires and my speedo was off but dead on when I went to 35s. Now I had a gear change and my speedo is off again after I had it retuned. Is there anyway to check and correct that?

Don't forget to check the grounding wires under the driver side frame rail. There is an ABS module that sits in the frame underneath you. I had the ABS light pop on and it turned out to be a grounding issue with this module. Just a suggestion but it helps to check everything.
