Front end feels awful

4 link would be awesome, actually had a dodge in shop tonight had a 4link coil sprung rear and i was looking at the way lower arm was setup looks like i could possibly get one to make a traction bar out of.... But setup looked sweet and simple to copy

It sits about 1-1.5in higher in front which I'm not a fan of but I already turned the torsions down and dont want to spend any money on anything until coilovers.
If you have big lift blocks in the back I would bet thats why you get bad wheel hop.
Im glad those cognito parts help compared to other trucks I've had This one makes me feel like I'm driving somthing fragile especially off road. I dont do any major wheeling in it but everyone in awhile theres a good hiking trail down a rocky path or I just decide to go hit a little mude hole to hide all my paint imperfections.
Those new dodge 4 link rears are sweet! they pull a really good amount of travel stock! And I bet they dont have any wheel hop at all.
I really want to start some Fab on this thing but my current garage setup and inpending move has me holding off on anything bigger then couple hour at a time jobs.
When you launch is it just holding the brake and mashing the gas? I was pretty disapointed that I cant squel the tires at all in 4x4 even dumping the clutch while bouncing off the limiter lol

I will say I am really impressed with these BFGs they have great grip so far! Never launched with the old firestones so maybe part of my problem is their soft compound.

Sounds like you need some torque unmanagenent!! I have issues power braking my truck too, at least i did until i changed my torque converter last week... Need get my shift points changed but thats gonna have to wait for headers and probably my new cam.... If im gonna pay for another tune its gonna be worth it.... Probably doesnt help i converted truck to hydroboost either... Im sure the blocks cause some bind but i havent found a set of leafs that actually ride like ny 2500hd 12500 rated springs do..... There are days i wish i hadnt lifted it but for most part i like how she sits... I want a set of bfg (never thought id actually say that) for simple fact theyre lighter than about any other tire out there, my truck handles awesome way its setup now, i just want lighter tires and have considered going from 315/7017load range e on 17x10 to a p285/70r17 on 17x9 for weight difference, just not sure how shell look or handle with that narrow or a tire and tucked that tight back into the body

I'm not at all a tuner but isnt torque management only for auto trans?
I think its torque problem comes from the 4.8 and not a nice cammed 6.0.
I would highely suggest getting an auto cal through BBP I have had my tune revised more times then I can remember at this point and its all free which is just awesome!
I could never have a lowered truck as a DD as a toy thats one thing but I would be so stressed having to worry about curbs and junk like that so I totally understand liking to stay lifted. What gears do you have? Ether way I'm sure you would enjoy the smaller and lighter wheels/tires.

Im running 4.10s.... I went with tuned by frost, heard realky good things and am hapoy with Steve's work.... Not to mention its only a 2 hour ride when/if i need to take it back to him. Theres a dedicated ls shop in town but ive heard really bad things about the tuner they have now and have driven some trucks that theyve done stuff too and was not impressed!!! BBP is that black bear or another tuner?? They rubbed me the wrong way when i was looking for a tuner!! I just want the lighter tires and maybe little narrower so i dont have to put a set of stock rims on the rear to get the truck dynoed!!! Now that i think about it i wonder if my dyno run wasnt so shaky due to the blocks... Maybe ill get some of the rough country traction bars for $130 and see if they make a difference!! I think theres some sort if torque management on all of these trucks, to be honest with ya!! Ive driven a couple of 5spd trucks and it seemed like the timing would drop if you broke traction in em...

My speed engineering 17/8 longtubes are sitting in my foyer waiting for wrap and cats.... And i wanna get my transmission built and in truck so i will hopefuly only have to drop exhaust one more time for a while....although i wanna get heders in and see ifi can even do what i think i can with it... If not i may drop the true duals and go back to y-pipe and get the back end if the y and basicalky turn my ypipe into an x pipe...

Well I dropped my tire pressure to 35 about to go for a short drive. Jacked the truck up and had a buddy shake the wheels seems to be about 1/4-1/2 in of play is that bad? If so ill see if my warranty will cover it =P
BBp is black bear I have been happy with them so far but a dyno tune would be nice.
I looked into those rough country T bars seem decent for the price.
I have just a sinlge 3in exiting before axle on passenger side I like it. but when turbo I'm gonna step up to a 4in sinlge with cut outs for sure!

Would really like to go FI but my wallet disagrees!!! 1/2" is alot, not sure if warranty covers, "wearable" suspension items, depends on warranty.....replace idler arm and the frame bracket...get cognito kit and im sure it will clear it up quite a bit... In meantime, grease the hell out of your front end.....
