Its a fabtec lift with rancho shocks. Mismatched junk from the previous owner.

Tires are at 55 which seemed high to me but the shop that installed them said thats whats recomended for them. Maybe I'm a fool to believe them?

I grabbed and tried to shake the pitman and idler and theres absolutly zero play.

Ok, jack up the truck, lift both tires off ground by lower control arm and shake tires side to side, you can even just do one at a time, and the tires will probably move in and out as you do, get someone to look and see if the idler arm is moving front to back... And 55 is awesome if you are towing or carrying a load all the time.... And like wearing the centers of your tires!!!! Back them sumbiches down to 35 or 40.... Its not a damn 2500... Just because the tires are load rated and the max pressure is 55 doesnt mean you need to run em there.... I run 35 and my tires wear evenly and theygove me a much better ride.... I cant stand someone that sells tires and knows nothing about them!!!

Shaking the idler and pitman by themselves will not show you any play you need leverge of the tire!!!

Ok thats gonna be the plan for tomorrow after work then. I thought that was to high when they did it but forgot I guess. Do you think the hub bore size matters? I was gonna order a set of adapters but if its not necessary ill save my $20 for a cheap ****** and blow.

Save it for the idler and pitman arm support you seriously need on that truck from cognito!!! Along with super steer idler arm bracket!!!

I think my hub bores are about same size... Typically so long as the lugnuts are tightened down properly in a star pattern and the first one is just snugged first to allow the wheel the ability to move slightky the lugs will pull it centered

On a side note.... How is the wheel hop on your truck... Mine is ridiculous!!
Really want a set of ladder bars, but not necessarily spend $350-600 on a set!!!

I was drooling over those last week when I got my tie rod sleeves.
Are you running them?
notice any difference in feel with them?

Yeah I always tighten them down correctly.

My rear isnt bad at all it seems to ether bust the rear end loose if I try to leave hard at all in 2wd. Or if I only give it 60-70% throttle it grips no problem.

4wd launches just grip and go hard! But I would like to get a video up close of how it leaves in 4x4 and see if it squats or if my leafs flew alot. I removed the 4in lift block but it does still have add a leafs not sure if that helps any or not. I would love to 4link it but thats along way away haha.

Yes i am running them and holy **** what a difference, i had the hd version on my 05 dually and i couldnt drive my now ex father in laws duramax the same.... Granted ill take 8.1 with 4.56 factory over 6.6 with 3.73 all damn day long!!! 8.1 actually had higher towing capacity.... Anyway.... I spin in 4hi with a hard enough launch.... And on street or in mud my rear jumps like a dog that aint been out in a week... I still have my full lift on... If you took the blocks out of the rear but still have the lift up front how level are you, holy crap, wonder if you or one of the other guys earlier in thread dont have resonance bounce....
