Man I love this setup, I'm happy with everything, the trans, the converter, and the tune!! I haven't really gotten on it yet as I want to break everything in, but I think I need to replace the belt tensioner in the Reaper as well as the Blazer, since I heard it knocking at idle and saw it jumping around, and I get a belt squeal when this monster downshifts
I can't tell you how good it feels to be driving my truck after so long, and it's so much better than it was 18 months ago...really makes me wish I had the dough to drop my LQ9 in right now, this trans deserves it

Oh yea, since I gutted the cats when the y-pipe was off this thing is loud as **** now! I haven't even gone above 4k in the thing and it already blew my eardrums...I like it. Sounds like a muscle car at idle, even with my baby cam.
Gonna upload the last set of pics and post them up in a bit, but first I must say...
FLT Rocks!!!

As promised, the last of the pics...not much and nothing exciting, but the finishing touches...
The driveshaft as repaired by Universal Joint Services in Rutherford, NJ, after I effed it up...

They were able to salvage the u-joint that I dorked, which saved me some jack

Nickel plated slip yoke installed...my clank when putting the truck in gear, or shifting is now gone (right rear leaf spring is noisy as hell though...might have to tighten up the spring clamp or get some lube in there...)

This might help you 99-02 guys who plan to install a trucool max...plan to notch your center grille support also as it will contact the cooler...

A little work with a Sharpie is all you need to make the cut...I used a Dremel with it's mini metal cutoff wheel

Viola, grille fits and still has some support at the center

Not sure if I posted this one already...one of the gutted cats that's providing the loudness lol

And that's it...the truck runs like a champ, better than it ever has, positive shifts with no slop, very consistent, love the converter...needs a little pedal to get moving but not much, can't wait until it's broken in so I can romp on it!! BTW, it was 83-85* while I was driving and the trans temps never went above 160*, even when my engine temps were over 200* (according to the factory gauges for what that's worth)
A very special thanks to the great guys over at FLT for all of their help and patience through this whole process, I can't say enough about how awesome they've been, and what a great product they have...love the t-shirt too lol
I have to thank Chris at Circle-D also, not only do I love the converter, but he was nice enough to hook me up with a free re-stall since I changed my mind before the converter was ever installed and ran. I never actually talked with Justin at BlackBear, but he answered all of my emails promptly, and sent me a great PCM, through the mail without a scan cable...seems to me like he nailed it, makes me wonder what it would be like with a scan cable or live tune from him. Keep up the good work guys!

Check engine light came on on my way to work...could be that I left something unplugged which I don't think I did but it's possible, may be that Justin forgot to turn off the rear O2's or something like that, or it may be the O2 sensor code that I had a few weeks before the trans blew, which I just cleared and it was good until 60E death. Whatever it is it's not affecting the way it runs, it feels great.
