Default et streets on stock 7 1/2" rim?

does anyone know if a pair of 26x11.50x16 et streets will fit on my stock 04 16x7.5 rims. i will use them strictly for the track. need to know fast before i buy these. also im getting them for $225 shipped and they have 10-15 passes on them and no street time. is this a good deal or are there better ones out there? thanks

I have run a 26x11.5-15 on an 8" rim before with no problems if that helps. The 16" will have 1/2" less sidewall height than the 15's which would make the width difference a little more dramatic. If I'm not mistaken that tire has a 10.0" tread width. Maybe someone will chime in that has run those specifically. I think they would work ok since they are so cheap. you may not have full contact of the tread on the ground though.
