Default drop question

i got a 04 with a 2in shackles in the rear, and there is still some rake. so is there anything out there for another 1/2-1in. I've searched and only found leafs (3in or more), hangers (2in or more), and nothing about shocks.

go to Autozone and buy some "leaf spring clamps" They clip the front of the overload leaf spring to the rest of the leafs. They will drop your truck between 1/2-3/4" and they cost about $12

Shocks won't affect the height. You could try leaf spring clamps (which made mine ride like crap) for another 1/2" or so. If it were me, I'd get the hangers and put the shackles on the 1" hole. That'd get you 3" total.

Weird, I didn't notice a difference when I ran my overloads?

dude it takes about 5 minutes to install both sides. It's just a u-bolt looking thing that goes around the end of the overload leaf. You just tighten it down with a ratchet

It made mine stiff as hell in the rear. I yanked them off after a couple of days. I'm guessing that you're young and your butt-meter isn't as sensitive as mine.
