what are the best tires to run on the street that will hook? i have 18 inch wheels

I have heard that the BFG's hook great but dont last very long. I heard that Nitto's hook okay, but last a long time.

Havent heard much about the MT ET street radials though...

With what your running, the Nitto's should hook for you (they hooked my buddies 600hp cobra), Nitto makes a 305/45-18 DR which is ~28.5" tall

(Nitto 555R) makes a 305/45-18 DR which is ~28.5" tall. These tires are the official drag radials that all of my buddies run on there Lightnings & Cobra's around here, they hook really good on the street once you warm them up.
