aight guys got a question for ya.... me and a buddy of mine put a vette servo in my truck yesterday... i drove it the rest of the night and this morning i got in my truck and went down the road and all of a sudden it dropped up to 3rd gear and my truck filled up with smoke and filled everybodys car behind me up with smoke... I get my truck pulled back to my house unbolt the shield over my servo and the case of my transmission is cracked!!!! goshawk had this exact same problem with his trans ..... DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT IN THE HECK HAPPENED!!!

Sounds like you didn't have the snap ring fully seated.
It's not the case being defective. Debris in the snap ring groove didn't allow the ring to be seated properly. Hydraulic pressure broke your case....

I've seen them break on a trans dyno the first time it hit second gear with high line pressure. Shitty trans builder did it more than once! I just couldn't get it through his head to clean that groove......HELP WANTED!!!

since a billet servo has more surface area will it boos line pressure evan more than a vette servo, wonder cause im ordering one next week, is a vette servo way cheapper and just as effective, should i be more worried about line pressure with a billet.
