Very nice!!! Now I see what people mean by the upper mount on the frame. I would be curious to see if there are any issues down the road with the factory frame mount.

I don't know why people are thinking that the upper mount is weak..? It is hydro formed 3/16'" steel. It is cylindrical in shape and welded inside and out..

True, but it was designed more for the dampening of a shock and not to take the full load of the suspension.

Again this is awesome, i hate my Tbars !!

Thanks again for sharing this and for the help.

I wonder if this will clear the front cv shafts ?

And also if the springs do clear the front CV's , im not sure how tall of a spring i would need for a 6'' IFS lift ? Any idea ? Is your truck lifted??

With a 6 inch lift I would think you would need a longer shock and spring...

My truck is lifted 2". That is why I put a 1/4" spacer between the shock mount and the frame. To keep my ride height correct.

You would need alot longer shock and spring. The longest 2.5 ID spring I have seen is 14". They make an 1 7/8" ID spring with pressure's in the 1800's..
