Default cut spindle bolt?

I have a mcgaugheys 2"4" spindle shackle kit plus a 1" eibach lowering spring. I want to put my stockers on when I drive freeway to save gas. Can I cut down the lower spindle bolt that connects to the lower control arm so my stock wheels fit? STupid 17" and bigger only spindle

what size are your stock wheels? if you have 17" stock wheels, all you need to do is cut the lower ball joint stud flush with the nut once you have the nut tightened on. if you have 16" wheels it's not going to work.

Ok. I was wondering. Is the extra length of thread neccessary to properly remove the spindle? I don't want to cut it then have nobody want to do suspension work on my truck later on. Thanks for the help
