Crazy transmission issue 03 4L60E
#1
My truck just started doing some weird stuff. When i first start it and start driving it it will be in limp mode i can access 2nd manually have 3rd and reverse, After it gets up too operating temp i can turn the ignition off in park, leave it off about 30 seconds, restart it and it will work perfectly fine until i let it sit and get cold again. I replaced the servos as it was throwing a code for them. Its still doing it but if they were truly bad they wouldnt work after it was warmed up would they??? Its wierd and just started doing it last week
Any tips? Internal harness? im gonna look over the wiring tomorrow real good and check for power too pin E other than that im lost

Fluid is full, clean, not burnt, no sliping, the trans was replaced last year...replaced a and b servos thats it, Ive also heard the internal harnesses are known to go bad could this be the issue?

Yea I cant remember the code its throwing, ill re scan it tomorrow, I dont think its engine related as it runs like a top, just chooses not too shift correctly until operating temp then does just fine after restarting the truck.....

This is exactly what it does.....10. Trans shifts into gear harshly, 3rd gear starts, manual 2nd available but no 1st, no 4th, and no TCC lockup: No power to transmission, or trans is in limp-home mode. Check trans fuse underhood, and make sure transmission electrical connector is plugged in. Easy fix.

Okay, I checked for power too the trans, It has power too the pink wire. (E terminal) Forgot too go by autozone and get it scanned. What color is the wire going from the fuse box too the trans? (pink also?) If so it had low voltage until i wiggled it around a bit then it jumped back up

Be sure the pins are secured in the harness. I've seen where tabs on pins get broken or mashed down to far, and end up backing out of the connector when attempting to connect the harness to the trans (and vice versa).
