Default Corvette Servo Install

I received my corvette servo today and I was wanting to see if there are any tricks or problems that I might encounter when I go to install it? I cant wait to get in it and feel the diiference.

Just make sure that the snap ring is seated 100%...if not, you will have one hell of a mess to clean off the garage floor. Ask me how I know...

nope it did not come with any instructions what so ever thats why I was checking here cause I dont really know where to begin. I talk to my dad and he said that there should be a snap ring holding it in.

Best thing it to remember the order when pulling everything out so you don't put them back in wrong.

Some folks think its to make it shift firmer,that is one of the effects of it but it is designed to hold the band tighter on the drum for no slippage.

Hey if you have any hesitation about doing it and screwing things up like some have or like many have done there own converters only to do hundreds thousands in damage. You might call a shop and see if they will install it for less than $25-$30,it would take tham all of about 15-20Min including racking it.

does the servo help on all gear changes or it is just 1 to 2 or what?
