Default Converter Questions

Hey guys, i need some help picking the right torque converter. Has any one tried the Edge converter? Its a 9 1/2 or 10" converter 2600stall. I want to keep my truck as street friendly as possible, since the stock converter is 12" is the 9 1/2 going to be a huge differance in daily driving.Do you guys have any other suggestions for converters for a Magnacharged truck? Thanks

Yes.

You will want a strong converter for FI. Yank or Precision Industries are the two most popular. I have a Yank SC2800 and it is very streetable. Don't cheap out on your converter.

You're from Simi Valley? Where at? I've probably seen you on the 118 or the 23.

I'm trying to do it right the first time but i haven't driven in a truck with a 2600 or higher stall.I'm kind of scared that it might be a little to high, i do alot of in town and freeway driving.

Go with atleast a 3000.. you wont regret it.. freeway driving will be no different and in town driving will be a lot more fun hehe.. I am about to install a tt3000 and i heard it was a tight stall.. I had a tci 3000 and it was loose loose, but man it was fun..
