Will the 6lug pattern fit in between the 8lug pattern? I realize it is smaller but by how much.

Could you run a 6lug eradispeed kit and make your own custom brackets for the rear or would the rotor rub the dust shield etc?

6 lug = 5.5" base circle
8 lug = 6.5" base circle

You can't run any rotor for a 10 bolt housing or the axles won't turn when the wheel is tightened. I know bear says differently, but that's because they "know" there is no difference in the axle housings. Point is, I have two sets of rotors for a 10 bolt here, and the hats are too deep.

Could you put a spacer behind the rotor, kinda like a wheel spacing but behind the rotor?

Since it would need such a big spacer (.45") the brake specialty guys said no way.

I spoke with Moser today. They said they can fix the bolt circle, so the easy solution is to buy the rotors that fit your axle housing and ship 'em to Moser for a redrill to 6x5.5

Thanks for that idea Grippy. You da man!

Dammit! Moser would have to make a jig and they don't want to do that...

Back to screwed.

can you just go with drum brakes for now and work on the disc brakes at your leisure?

Nope -- I bought the axle housing for the JH6 disk brake option, so no drums around (or I'd be running drums).

On the positive note, I found a company willing to make me a 2 piece rotor setup (Coleman Racing). More details as they appear.
