Default clunking, rattling noise in 4L65E at low RPM

my 01 C3 AWD with radix & built 4L65E with 2500 stall makes a rattling or clunking noise when sitting at stop light. This happens when in gear or if you put into neutral. It will speed up with engine RPM but not louder. when under power moving I can not hear it. Transmission shifts good & doesnt slip. Anyone have ideas what is causing noise?

it could be a cracked/busted flexplate or it could also be your converter

oops... I should mention the noise seems to be from convertor or pan area of transmission.

Yes when stationary in gear theres nothing inside the trans moving so I would also say flexplate or converter bolts

pull the starter out and then inspect the flexplate. Also turn over the crank so as to rotate the flexplate so you can examine as much of it as possible

well i feel dumber n usual but glad at same time.... the noise is coming from LH Catalytic Converter. I put my screwdriver stethoscope on all the housings to be sure. I checked all torq convertor bolts & flexplate while I was under there..
