i was still running a pretty much stock tune. we changed my shiftpoints, added some timing, turned off torque management as well as quite a few other changes.

So essentially the gains you felt were more from the tune than the gears. Most people do say that 3.42 to 3.73 isn't worth it, just go straight to 4.10s.

yes. i did feel some gains with the 3.73s but the tune is what really made the difference. my truck is a DD and sees mostly highway driving so i didnt want to go as high as 4.10s
