Just spoke with cal-tracs ...if you have a bell tech 2/4 drop using spring hanger relocation brakets, you have to send them your hanger brakets so they can remake them to work with caltracs
..f**k it i'll just wait and see what dude from MS. comes up with for traction.

Well the bars are finally on after hours of work. I didn't think the install would take so long, especially since I had removed/installed my front/rear suspension before, but I forgot how much of a pain in the rear the leaf springs could be.
The hardest part was definitely not having a press to get the bushings out. To do this I used a blow torch and sledgehammer to knock out the bushings.
With the bars on the truck now has NO wheel hop or spring wrap. It's great to be able to stomp on the gas from a dead stop and not have to worry about the bouncing/hoppping rear end! The Caltracs are definitely one of the BEST mods I have made so far, and something I wish I had done a long time ago.

Hey guys, I just ran across this thread...
I have a set of CalTracs that I bought over a year ago and haven't installed them yet.
I was specific in stating that I had Hotchkis TVS 2/4 kit when ordering, I called Hotchkis as well. Both knew of each other's products but still didn't give me a real confident feeling in knowing whether they would fit or not. Calvert Racing told me to check w/ Hotchkis and find out if the bushing was a different size than stock, Hotchkis said NO. So, Calvert Racing said that it would fit. I have an extended cab, like MarineBlue03GMC, so maybe the springs are different in that the bushings are not different size than stock.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
I was planning on having them installed very soon.
