Well my grudge race is Friday night and I finally ground my calipers to fit my 15" wheels on the rear. Holy crap, what a pain in the ***! It took over 4 hours total. I read a few threads lately that indicated such, but I thought they were exaggerated; WRONG. I probably put on and took off the wheels 30 times on each side, killed a grinder disc, cut my finger down to the bone on my knuckle, and had several slivers of hot aluminum stick in my arms and neck/face. All in all, it was an awesome day.

Curious to see how much was cut away. Easy way to do it is to take a strait edge from the center of the wheel, measure to the inside of the wheel, then mark it, do the same on the wheel hub to the caliper, mark the cali. Takes alot of time out, trying wheels on and off, LOL

Thanks brick! I'm going to say they were easily shave 1/8" all the way around the caliper. After I finished grinding, I threw a couple of quick coats of graphite-colored paint on them to match my Torq Thrusts and you can't tell they were cut so much unless you REALLY look. I started using anti-seize on the wheel and spinning it so it would mark the contact points to know where to grind more. That made it better, but still a PITA.
