I had that same thought. I built my own out of 3/16" plate steel, a wilwood master, a heavily modified 1967 camaro clutch pedal, and some micro switches. It was WELL Worth doing it, and I would easily pay $200-$300 for this setup.
Oh wow, that is quite the setup. As long as it works, that's what's important!
I really can't wait to get a dependable solution in my truck. I've put off additional power-making projects until this fix since I know additional aggressive driving would only exacerbate the problem.
you might also send him the youtube link to of how you are supposed to replace the broken one. I dont have time to find it right now but I've watched it before and you are supposed to remove the entire dash, no thank you.
you have to take out a lot of bolts
near the wind shield
on either side near the doors
small bracket near the gas pedal.
its a huge pain in the ***.
in the suv you also get to pull the seats and center console as that hooks into the dash.
Alright guys. Sorry for the lull in things and subsequent updates.

I am going to follow up with Richard on a few questions he had in the next day or so to get this thing back moving again. Thanks for your patience.
