I had that same thought. I built my own out of 3/16" plate steel, a wilwood master, a heavily modified 1967 camaro clutch pedal, and some micro switches. It was WELL Worth doing it, and I would easily pay $200-$300 for this setup.

Oh wow, that is quite the setup. As long as it works, that's what's important!

I really can't wait to get a dependable solution in my truck. I've put off additional power-making projects until this fix since I know additional aggressive driving would only exacerbate the problem.

you have to take out a lot of bolts
near the wind shield
on either side near the doors
small bracket near the gas pedal.

its a huge pain in the ***.

in the suv you also get to pull the seats and center console as that hooks into the dash.

the $250 to $300 would be good if its the whole assembly. i would definitely buy one

Alright guys. Sorry for the lull in things and subsequent updates.

I had surgery in late June, and with the recovery efforts along with digging myself out of the pile of work-related stuff, this project had to take a back seat for a bit. I am going to follow up with Richard on a few questions he had in the next day or so to get this thing back moving again. Thanks for your patience.

yeah no worries, im still trying to gather pieces for my swap. im looking for a crossmember for 01 2wd if anyone has one. i was told its the same as the automatic, but not for sure. if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it

hey from NoVa. In my manual swap I used the same cross member with no mods. 4l65e to nvg4500

Did this ever get any traction?? I'm getting ready to do my 6.0 swap and t56 viperization, I would like to take care of this too...
