Default Blew Tranny a few days ago

i was 2 miles from my destination when the tranny crapped out on me when making a right hand turn onto another road. the worst noise ever.

reverse and park doesn't work. i got it to a tranny shop some how. in a couple of days they had it fixed. not sure how much it is going to cost. find out friday.

i think the root cause of this whole thing is my Yank 3000 TC. i am never putting one of those in my truck again. don't get me wrong, TC are a blast. but it puts alot of wear on other parts when using it as a daily driver

before you go and start blaming a part, and naming the brand of that part as fault why don't you wait for the report back from your trans shop?
You realize somebody's livelihood can be affected by these words?

I sincerely doubt the TC caused the failure. Hundreds if not thousands of us run Yanks on the street everyday (me for one) without any issues.

No park, you broke a planet something along those lines, While its true that a converter will transfer more torque through the trans saying thats what killed it specifcally would be a hard call now it may have put additional strain on and allready weak part which caused it to die sooner.

*WARNING PERFORMANCE DRIVNG CAN BREAK STUFF*
*BUT I LIKE DOING IT SO MUCH*

I know alot of people who have run stalls on stock or close to stock trannies and they never took a dump BECAUSE of a stall.
It will put extra stress on certain parts but in the end it's You and Your FOOT thats causes certain things to break.

yeah i have a Yank TT3000 (sounds like the same stall you have, Keuka) and all i have in my tranny is an HD2 shift kit. i've been running that combo for like 15K miles without a problem.
