Default Best gear for my setup

I have A 4.8 runnin 6lbs of boost from A whipple.I'm riding on 285 50 R20's.Will A 4.10 gear or 3.73 gear be best for my setup.I figured A 4.10 might help the 4.8 which is A high revving motor stay in the higher rpms.I'm not concerned about fuel economy just afraid of losing top end power.I do so mostly highway racing but i'll be hitting the track soon as I feel I can run ok.

Go for the 4.10's if you can get traction.

Default gear setup

I'm just wondering how it will change my powerband as far as freeway racing I want to go to A 4.10 but still don't know hopefully someone can give me some advice on this. Most of the racing I do right now is from A roll.

There are some neat rear gear calculators out there set up for 1/4 mile passes. I'd run it at the track. Find the correction for accuracy. Then, figure in your usual street race mph, start-finish. Adjust accordingly.

I think that would work better than just going with a set of 4.10s

Elapsed Time X MPH = 1335
-If the factor is more than 1335, add more rear gear.
-If the factor is less than 1335, reduce rear gear.

I have the same size tire and would deffinetly go with the 4.10's myself. I dont dislike my 3.73, but I would rather have 4.10.
