Default Bagged 2002 Silverado

The air compressors for my air sys are on there last legs. I was thinking of buying 2 new Air Zenith compressors, the best I could find is 2 for $700.00. I stumbeled on a engine driven air compressor (York sc209) complet install kit for $950.00ish. This would be the way to go if it will fit. I have 12 gallans of air tanks & run them up to 200psi.

Has any one used these compressors? How well does it work? Will it run that high of press?

What kind of press did you eun with that sys? I need to run between 150-200psi, is the York capable of running these pressures?

yes the york will be perfect. Make sure it includes the bracket to mount on your truck, also remember it runs off the belt so gonna rob some power. The york setup is actually a stock a/c compressor from many older vehicles fords volvos semi's.

I had one on my bagged silverado for a long time but sold it with the truck.

Sweet. Thanks... Do you remember where it mounts(what area of the belt)? I have a Magna Charger, I want to make sure it won't get in the way(other than a little power)

it mounts off the side of the alt bracket and you will get a dual alt pulley and run it off that if your compressor has a v belt clutch. If it has a serpentine clutch then it will run off the main drive belt and you'll have to match one up to your length.

thats with the v belt.
