Default Baer Brake install instructions.

I have a complete kit with front calipers and drum disc conversion. My truck already has rear disc. Anyway I have all the stuff but with no instructions.
Didn't know if there is anything special to install these or not. The rear would be just bolt on I'm guessing but not for sure on the front. Do you guys just use the stock brake hoses?

While you're at it, you might as well do it. My SSBC kit came with braided hoses.

You would be surprised how big of a difference braided hoses make. Much firmer pedal!

I also upgraded to a high temp brake fluid while I was there

Where can you get braided hoses?

Rear calipers went on fine, they are pretty much the same thing I already have but Baer's are painted so I put them on. The kit comes with braided hoses but think it is all for drum to disc conversion so I don't know if they will work or not.

On the front the caliper looks to me like it needs to fit on a little further. Meaning that the brake pad isn't in complete contact with the rotor. The pad sits about 1/8" out from the edge of the rotor. Is that the way they want them?

I got a 5 line stainless steel Russell braided kit from Summit, definite improvement in the feel of the brake pedal
