Default And Another G80 go BOOM.....

Heading to base this morning for PRT around 5am so I5 was kind of empty So I decided to mash the skinny pedal to the floor on the on ramp at around 30mph.

Well tires started to roast then caught traction and that's when the G80 went boom. Long story short....sitting at local speed shop awaiting 4:10 gear set and a TruTrac

Was on the list to get done but not till later on...plans changed I guess. The 4:10's will compliment my new cam nicely...can't wait!

My G80 never broke but the clutches wore down and would not engage anymore. You can't go wrong with the TT, plus it makes driving in the rain an adventure!

Just a quick update: Got my 500 miles of break in complete. What a difference! Alot better lowend and both tires actually hook now unlike the G80 it would work whenever it would feel like. The only thing I noticed is on the interstate the RPM's are a little higher, I keep looking to see if I have it in overdrive are not.

I didn't notice a huge difference in RPM going from 3.42s to 4.11s. Well at least nothing more than I was expecting.
