Question alright, what's the deal with my tranny?

for some reason my 1-2 shift seems to be softening up lately. Part throttle shifts are clean and crisp as always, WOT 2-3 shifts seem up to snuff, but my WOT 1-2 doesn't have the punch it used to, in other words it seems like it's taking longer to make the shift than usual, and in addition to that, I have been experiencing increased driveline slop(previous post). Any ideas? Is she showing the first signs of heading on her way out?

I wouldn't think you would have any problems with the 80E. Check and make sure your fluid isn't low. When I went to the track last time my 1-2 shift was a little sloppy, and I went home and found that my fluid was just a tad low. I put another half-quart in and the 1-2 shift firmness came back.

I'll check again but they are not what they used to be, although I did a few almost WOT runs today and it felt ok but still not like it used to feel.
