Default 99-06 silverado rear axle weight

Does anyone know exactly how much a 99-06 2wd silverado rear axle, just an axle (not whole differential) weigh???

Maybe you have one OFF you can weigh on a digital scale...any help greatly appreciated...

Just the axle housing, no shafts or guts?

Probably 80lb or so

Yes. What i need is the weight of a stock axle itself, preferably on a digital scale which is more accurate...Not the axle housing or differential...just a stock axle if you can PLEASE.

Thank you, GOD Bless, and may you and your family have a Happy and Safe CHRISTmas 😇

The scale says they are 21.6 lbs..... I verified it with my weight and then me holding the axle and being weighed, as well as weighing the axles separately. Hope this helps
