Default 60e Servo pin spring (between case & servo)

if it's left out, . . . it makes quicker, more then hard 1-2 shifts. Meaning a stock 5.3 truck with 3.42s, on 22x10s . . . spins the 1-2 shift . . . not a bark on concrete. This guy had already had the trans rebuilt to "built like" specs.

I had a guy bring me a truck over the weekend. I pulled the stock truck servo out, but later on when I went to install the vette servo, I couldn't find the inner spring. I had a spare from a "core" 60e, so I added the spring back in. I was concerned that it was something that I had messed up with the seals or something else. I got a little worried while on a test, and the 1-2 shift was really long and lazy, and stock like firmness. I sent Performabuilt a PM and he confirmed that leaving out the spring makes a harder shift.

That is a return spring, so it helps release the pin after it applies. I would be worried about he pin sticking and not releasing if the spring was left out, and might burn the band up.
