yea instead of having a tailshaft housing like yours the 4wd has a adapter housing that the transfercase bolts up too

Yeah, I have to add another vss as well. There a few different ways to do the wiring. I'll be swapping all of my wires at the pcm.

I did mine like that too. I used 3/16" since its what i had laying around. Only took a couple minutes to make.

For you guys that added a mounting tab to the back of your crossmember, How much clearance to the pan do you have? Can you pull the pan without removing the crossmember? It's not much extra work to support the t-case & remove the crossmember, but I just want to know. Pics of the pan/crossmember would be cool if anyone has them.

I don't think i can pull my pan off without removing the crossmember.
